I just realized I haven't had a chance to make a birthday doujinshi for any of the VF guys in a long while. But since Asami-sama's birthday is usually around a long weekend here, and I just happened to be kicking back and relaxing for a change, I thought I'd pick up the habit again ^^ (or at least try to... -_-;) Happy Birthday Asami-sama!!

YA Anthology - VF DJ "Asami's Birthday 2006" Redeux

A while back, I got to chatting with a group of Japanese Yamane sensei fans online. Some how we ended up on the topic of fan works, and we found out that a number of us either write or draw in our spare time, so we got to the idea of putting together a fanbook for sensei. Long story short, we managed to put together a pretty nice book which was handed to YA sensei personally at the Yokohama signing session :) I'm told that both she and her editors loved it very much ^_^

I recieved my copy in the mail today... and while I can't show you the other particpants' works (since this was an exclusive printing for just participants and YA sensei and a handful of other people), the DJ I submitted was a story I originally posted here, so I wanted to share this with you guys :) (I didn't have time to come up with a short enough new story for the Anthology, so I had to recyle an old one ;P)

On the other hand, the colour pic that I submitted for the YA Anthology is brand new, so for those wanting a little threesome-ish pairing with Mikhail, Fei Long and Yoh... ;P

Ack!! I've been neglecting this journal....*looks at last entry* February... (-_-;) The neglection will probably continue for a while longer since I'm still working on that multi-parter doujin over at my dark_mtarashi journal, not to mention the usual RL stuff...

So at least in celebration of Aki's birthday, I shall pop back in here long enough to post a Birthday pic for the little guy :) Yet again, this pic is inspired by one of my favorite illustrations by Yamane sensei ^__^ (This time, the inspiration is more obvious XDD)

This is one of a few colour pics I had considered for including in a fanbook that a few Japanese fans and I are putting together for ourselves and Yamane sensei. I ended up going with another pic for other reasons, but I hope to share the other pics with you guys eventually ^__^ For now, I hope you'll enjoy this one!

I know it's a bit early but I probably won't have time tomorrow - but the 18th is Yamane sensei's birthday ^___^ So in honour of our lovely and wonderful sensei, the gang have gathered for a big birthday din-din(?) Won't you join in the celebration? ^_^

Beware of chibis, BYOB, and most of all - have fun ;P

EDITED POST I posted a link to the picture for Yamane sensei on her blog and she was kind enough to leave me a response so I've translated and posted the thread at the end of the post :)

Whoa... (o_O) It feels like it's been quite a long time since I made a doujinshi... and it has been - at least for this LJ user ID ;P

I'm sure anywhere that celebrates the holidays, the festive season is in full swing, so I bring to you a Christmas themed VF doujinshi :) For this one, I re-visted a little 'naughty' omake pic that I drew in my Asami's Birthday doujinshi post. (Warning: NOT worksafe XDD)

Insomnia is not a pretty thing... (T___T) But I guess that gives me time to finish making silly stuff like this ;P

Online quizzes... Grrr.... I never get the results I want... so why not make my own? ...and a Viewfinder themed one to boot - complete with "results" doodles by yours truly ^__^

Come on... I know you wanna try it? XDD *runs away*

I was inspired to try making this silly little thing because the other day I saw my friend's sister playing a Prince of Tennis dating simulation game XD XDD Those things are so hilarious because they're so absurd... the sparkles! the things you'll never hear these characters say!!! *LOL*

*cough* Anyhoo... this quiz is more of a trial run, but I hope you'll like it anyway :) I had fun putting this together and I'll probably make another one if it proves to be fun to you guys too ^_^
